Battlefield 2042 Comprehensive Guide: Everything you need to know about the game to become the Commando Champion!

Without further ado, let's talk about the important new systems that you will be using a lot, but before that, check out the controls for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

New Plus: What is it and how is it used?
When you're fighting one or more enemies in the middle of a battle, you don't want to waste a little time changing your weapons and accessories, and that's where Plus comes in. In a nutshell, this system makes the attachment change process much smoother and faster, enabling you to use different tactics during combat. To use it:
Press and hold the button/switch that matches your preferred platform (see below) to see what accessories are available for your current weapon. Each arm in the menu gives access to different content and accessories to choose from, when you release the button it is automatically configured. This allows you to experiment with all the accessories and seamlessly discover which one suits you best during battle and to suit your overall playstyle.
For PC: Hold the “T” key, left click to select, then release the “T” key to prepare.
Xbox: Hold LB, use the directional buttons to select, then release LB to prepare.
PlayStation devices: Hold L1, use the directional buttons to select, then release L1 to prepare.

Battlefield 2042 Guide: How to Summon Vehicles
Battlefield 2042 introduces a new summoning system that will help you get to your target more quickly. When you are on the battlefield and want to escape or go to the next target, you will want to use a vehicle. Given the large maps, the development team decided to make the process of obtaining a vehicle easier and added a system that enables you to summon vehicles and move them wherever you want. To use it:
On the PC, press the “B” button to bring up the tablet to summon. Choose from troop transport to combat vehicles and use the left mouse button to select the option that best suits your situation. Once selected, move the mouse again to choose the delivery location. Then click again and your vehicle will be on its way to you.
For Xbox, hold down the “RB” button and follow the steps above.
For PlayStation devices, press and hold the “R1” button and follow the steps above.

Battlefield 2042 guide: How to heal and revive a team

You know, part of surviving on the battlefield is knowing how to treat yourself and your teammates quickly and efficiently to ensure that you all survive the fight. There are three types of treatment:

Automatic Healing: When you or an ally take damage, you will begin to heal after a short time. You can recover full health this way but it takes time and once you take damage the timer starts over.

SMART HEALING TOOLS: Medical chests are chests that you can use to help treat your teammates. Throw it on the ground and when an injured teammate moves near it, they will gain HP within a short period of time. Please note that there is a rest period after treatment so you cannot use another medical box right away. And the same observation here with regard to avoiding exposure to further damage during the treatment period.

Finally, Specialist Maria Falck has a syringe pistol that allows her to heal herself (R6S players will love it). It can also aim at friendly targets to treat them from a distance. If it misses the target, the syringe will fall to the ground and any friend or foe can use it and get the effect of the treatment. However, if the syringe hits a hostile target directly, it will be damaged.

What is the occupation pattern and how to seize and more

Occupation style is one of the most iconic and popular in the series. As you know, the year 2042 is full of chaos and disasters but your goal is the same: capture as many sectors as possible and keep them on the map. The more land you and your allies can capture (and keep), the faster you'll drain enemy reinforcements.

The entire occupation pattern revolved around sectors, specifically how much you could keep on any given map. The more your team possesses, the more powerful it becomes and the weaker your enemy becomes. But how do you actually take over a sector of the map in this pattern?

Start by understanding that each area on a map contains one or more flags, and those flags must be claimed and defended. If you can do that on all the flags in a certain area then you have taken over that sector. The higher the number of sectors you can take control (or take away from the enemy) the closer you are to achieving victory. You control most of the sectors and you will constantly drain your enemies of reinforcements that are tickets. And when you run out, you win the game!

What are tickets and are they important?

Think of tickets as a shared resource for the team, the more tickets you get, the more redeployments you get. And more redeployments means more soldiers in the field fighting for your team, making it easier for you to control more territory. The more tickets you have, the fewer tickets your enemy has, which gives you an advantage.

Of course, the shortest way to reduce enemy numbers is to eliminate them but you also have to capture (and keep) the targets on the map to control sectors. The more sectors you control, the more tickets for the enemy team (reinforcements) are depleted. If one team runs out of tickets, the match ends and the other team wins.
