Capcom's new dinosaur shooter Exoprimal will launch July 14, according to its Steam Page. It'll debut that day on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC Exoprimal will also be included on Xbox Game Pass on launch, with an open beta running from March 17-19.
In Exoprimal, teams of exosuit-wearing players compete against each other to appease an AI named Leviathan, which is summoning the dinosaurs into the world. The exosuits are broken up into three main roles: Assault, Tank, and Support, with each role having multiple exosuits. Exosuits can also be equipped with Rigs, which give a suit additional powers, letting you make up for a suits weakness, or empower its strengths even more.
The game sports multiple modes, including Dino Survival, Dinosaur Cull, and Energy Taker, each having their own unique objectives. There are PvP modes as well, pitting players against one another, breaking up the dinosaur slaying action. Capcom also revealed that Exoprimal will feature a battle pass filled with new cosmetic items.
Exoprimal will also be priced at $60 USD, with a few exclusive skins available for those who preorder, as Capcom has not yet jumped on the trend of $70 video games. There is a digital deluxe version of Exoprimal, which includes the premium version of the first battle pass. For more, check out GameSpot's hands-on preview of Exoprimal.
