Don't worry, Helldivers 2's CEO doesn't anticipate this Galactic War timeout having a major effect on the story going forwards, even if it'll definitely be canon 
As you might have heard, Helldivers 2's Galactic War is currently on hiatus, as Arrowhead works to fix a bug with planet libration rates that's been "harming the game experience".
